BP Refinery — the most demanding sector in construction
The petrochemical industry represents the absolute peak of requirements for safety, technical competence and certifications. Working at the BP refinery in Gelsenkirchen required special preparation for the entire team — ATEX certification, training for work in explosive atmospheres and strict protocols for working with flammable substances.
We carried out industrial assembly works and pipework (Rohrbau) in the active section of the refinery. The project was delivered in compliance with German DGUV regulations and BP’s internal safety guidelines.
ATEX environments — our competence for the highest-risk contracts
The ability to work in ATEX environments (environments with explosion risk) is one of the most exclusive competencies in the construction industry. Only a small number of subcontractors have a certified team for such works. COME WORKS is among them.
